Family Home Evening!

We made potato stamps for family home evening, and Parker painted a nice picture, until his dad taught him a better way to paint!   Parker thought he was pretty funny!  You can see the progression, it started out just a little bit on his chest, then turned into a lot all over his chest cheeks, and forehead.  And became much more colorful as he went.  It was hard to pull him away from it!

Papa's Graduation

The whole Taylor family came up to Laramie for my dad's graduation. We had a great weekend with everyone here, and it was nice to have the house back when everyone left!  I am a little slow posting, but here are a few of the pictures from graduation.

Papa and all the grandkids.  I don't know what Parker is doing!
Our future graduate!
The whole family, if you can imagine Brandon in there somewhere.  He was in Casper for Regional Track that weekend, so we missed him.  It was great having Ryan, Jess, and Talan come visit.  The boys actually did pretty well playing together and Parker misses having Talan around.  He is going through withdrawals after everyone left him all at once.  He asks for Papa everyday, and when we tell him Papa's not here, he asks for Talan or Hallie and he gets so sad when we tell them they are all gone.

Visit to Star Valley

A few weeks ago, Parker and I went to visit Grandma and Papa in Star Valley.  It was really cold, so we had to stay inside most of the time, but we had a great week.  Parker loved being able to "Feed Horsey Candy" everyday when Papa came home from work.  He must have asked me 10 times a day if he could go feed the horse.  I couldn't believe that he let the horse eat them right out of his hand like that!

He also really liked riding in Papa's "fourwheeler" once we convinced him to try it.  He was a little scared to get in, but once he did, he loved it.  Every time we stopped he would ask for more.

Grandma took him to the toy store and bought him a T-ball set.  He loves it, but as you can see, it took him a while to figure out how to hold the bat.  He insisted the whole first day on holding the bat backwards, and then he would barely make contact with the ball.  Since we got back home, he has gotten a lot better, and he actually hits it really well.

We spent a few hours in Mountain View and got to see his Great-Grandparents.  Parker loved saying "great grandpa" over and over again.  Since we had all three kids with us, we thought it would be good to take some pictures with the grandparents.  This is four generations in those pictures!  That is so neat.  They have all left quite a legacy, and we are so lucky to have them here.

Grandma and Grandpa had a preemie calf in their yard that they are taking care of, and Parker thought he was a dog!  He played with him as if he was just like Mogli.  It was so cute.
